HL Cryogenic Equipment which was founded in 1992 is a brand affiliated to HL Cryogenic Equipment Company Cryogenic Equipment Co.,Ltd. HL Cryogenic Equipment is committed to the design and manufacture of the High Vacuum Insulated Cryogenic Piping System and related Support Equipment to meet the various needs of customers.The Vacuum Insulated Pipe and Flexible Hose are constructed in a high vacuum and multi-layer multi-screen special insulated materials, and passes through a series of extremely strict technical treatments and high vacuum treatment, which is used for transferring of liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, liquid argon, liquid hydrogen, liquid helium, liquefied ethylene gas LEG and liquefied nature gas LNG.

HL Cryogenic Equipment is located in Chengdu City, China. More than 20,000 m2 factory area involves 2 administrative buildings, 2 workshops, 1 non-destructive inspection (NDE) building and 2 dormitories. Nearly 100 experienced employees are contributing their wisdom and strength in various departments. After decades of development, HL Cryogenic Equipment has become a solution provider for the cryogenic applications, including R&D, design, manufacturing and post-production, with the capability of "discovering customer problems", "solving customer problems" and "improving customer systems".

● To design and manufacture the Ground Cryogenic Support System for Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer (AMS) on the International Space Station, headed by Mr. Ting C.C. Samuel (a Nobel laureate in physics) and European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN).

Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC)

SABIC has sent Saudi experts to visit our factory twice in the six months. The quality system, design and calculation, manufacturing process, inspection standards, packaging and transportation were investigated and communicated, and a series of SABIC requirements and technical indicators were put forward. Through half a year of communication and running in, HL Cryogenic Equipment Company has fully met the requirements of customers and provided products, services and solutions for SABIC projects.

International Space Station Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer Project

Professor Samuel C. C. Ting, the Nobel Prize winner in physics, initiated International Space Station Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer (AMS) project, which verified the existence of dark matter by measuring positrons generated after dark matter collisions. To study the nature of dark energy and explore the origin and evolution of the universe.

56 research institutions in 15 countries are involved in the project. In 2008, the US House of Representatives and the Senate approved that the space shuttle of STS Endeavour delivered the AMS to the International Space Station. In 2014, Professor Samuel C. C. Ting published research results that proved the existence of dark matter.

Responsibility of HL Cryogenic Equipment Company in AMS Project

HL Cryogenic Equipment Company is responsible for the Cryogenic Ground Support Equipment (CGSE) of AMS. The design, manufacture and test of the Vacuum Insulated Pipe and Hose, the Liquid Helium Container, the Superfluid Helium Test, Experimental Platform of the AMS CGSE, and participate in the debugging of AMS CGSE System.

Several engineers from HL Cryogenic Equipment Company went to European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) in Switzerland for nearly half a year for co-design.
